Boxes, boxes everywhere!

Dustin is gone this weekend at the annual father-son campout with our church.  This year he was feeling very brave and decided to take Ezra too leaving me with, well, NO ONE to care for all weekend!  So, since we now have a house and have less than 3 weeks until moving day, I spent the day packing boxes.  My mom came over for the afternoon and we now have lots of piles of boxes like this one in various rooms of the house.  It will probably weird out the boys a bit but will hopefully make Dustin smile to see so much done.  :)

House

In case any of you are wondering or keeping track, we're on counteroffer #7 on what we hope will be our new house...  the saga continues!

My New Favorite Song

First, before you all leave comments about how behind I am in my music, I know already.  But I was listening to this song on the radio and liked it, and looked up the band's site and found the song with video.  After watching the video I have decided that this is my new favorite song, so I wanted to share it with you all.  You NEED to watch the entire video to get it tho, so check it out!

The rest of the pics I was adding

This thing is giving me problems tonight, so here, hopefully, are the rest of the preschool graduation pics!

It's been awhile...

Since I've last posted a lot has happened in our lives, and I guess that's why this post has been so long in coming!  We're within a month and 3 days of closing on the sale of our house, which also means that we're within a month and 3 days of being homeless!  We have been frantically looking for a new place to live, while being rather picky about what we want to spend our money on.  We almost bought a place a couple weeks ago, which we were both really excited about, but the people decided that unless we offered their asking price (about5K beyond our absolute highest ability) they were pulling their house off the market, and so they did.  I was crushed, but we've been able to move on and hopefully find something that, while definitely a "fixer upper," is hopefully well within our budget and will be big enough for our family.  We'll keep you updated on how that goes, we submitted a contract today so we're waiting to see what happens.
I need to share some pictures so that you know what we're up to around here, the boys keep asking us to video them, or get pictures, and post them on the blog, so here they come!   The first ones, which might be all for this post, are of Eli's Preschool graduation:)

Weekend Fun!

This weekend Dustin and the big two are at the kids retreat with church.  I'm sure they are having lots of fun but we are missing them for sure.  So here is a little bit of the fun times that we had too.  Nothing major as Eli LOVES to stay home now.  That gets on my nerves a little because I'm always wanting to be on the go but today, other than a bike ride in our neighborhood, we stayed home.  The boys had a great day and I even got a little start on packing up some boxes!  Happy Mother's Day to all of those moms out there.

Happy Birthday Ezra!

Yes, our house sold and we are searching for a new one!  But in between the craziness we are just living life.  Our youngest of our little men is 3 today!  I can hardly believe it but am not in the least craving a baby but loving the phase that our family is now in and entering into.  :-)  The problem with being the youngest of 4  that are so close in age is that you just get sucked up into the big kids and what they do.  So, today we are enjoying being 3.  We are doing trains and have puzzles and painting planned too for this rainy day.  The break from Star Wars and weapons is nice for mom too but it is really fun to just let the little man be 3 today while the older 2 are off at school and then off to a church retreat for the weekend!  A happy weekend to all...
