Skiing in the ice

So last Sunday night I went out to Hidden Valley with Jeremy and Steve for their midnight ski. The weather promised to hold out enough that we'd have some snow, and I for one had not skied in several years, so even Hidden Valley was exciting to me! We got there around 10 and planned to try to stay until 2 or so, except for Steve who was planning on working Monday, Jeremy and I had the day off.
The real story was what we discovered when we began skiing. They had a signe notifying us that they would be making snow all night, and what that meant was that every one of the snow guns would be shooting out great amounts of icy water into the air, which would hopefully freeze before it hit the ground. We found that while it did freeze before hitting the ground, it did not freeze before hitting us, thereby freezing on us. Thankfully I brought my goggles, and Jeremy ended up buying some, however Steve left with a very chapped and red-looking face.

We stayed until 1AM.
