Snow Day!

We got some ice and a little snow here last night, and it resulted in school being closed for the day - which means not only do the boys not have to go to school, but dad doesn't have to work either! (The pros and cons of the latter part can be debated, but since they can't be changed I don't worry about them!) So we decided to head out and do some sledding, once in the morning and then again in the late afternoon after our family nap time (a wonderful thing!). Here are some pictures we have to share with you! This is especially fun for us since it's our first "sort of real" snow since we left Canada after Christmas, and the boys' first chance to use their snowboards!

Also just found out that school is cancelled for tomorrow now, as it's still snowing, so hopefully we'll have more fun to share with you tomorrow and you won't see all the leaves on the sledding hill!

That's awesome!!! It does look funny to see the grass poke through the snow and know that it's a snow day though - ha ha! you wimps!!!
