God has an interest in real estate...

Or so it seems in our case!  We put our house on the market on a Thursday about a week and a half ago.  We had an open house that Sunday, and it was a rainy day.  In the infamous words of a friend, all I got out of that was "some alone time."  Needless to say it was a bit disappointing for us, but when you're selling FSBO you have to be patient.  So Thursday comes, a week after the sign went in the yard, and I got a call from a lady who wanted to tour the house, without an agent.  They toured, and then got an agent to take them around to some other homes in our area the next day.  They called right after that point and said they liked our house the best, and wanted to come make an offer.  We scheduled with a realtor friend to all meet Saturday afternoon, and ended up with a signed contract making us more on the house than we expected, and it was SOLD!!  Very hard to imagine, but very exciting too!  So we close in late June, and are now getting into the throes of house-hunting!  You can pray that we find a good house for our family that will enable our boys to have some space to get big in! 

So now you know why we firmly believe God has a serious interest in real estate, or maybe that means he has a serious interest in us?!!  Thanks God!
